1.1 Introduction
Hi guys. Welcome to this Envato Tuts+ course, Designing and Building a Brand. My name is Grace Fussell. I'm a graphic designer and brand consultant based in the UK, and I've done a number of brand design and rebranding projects for clients over the years. In this course you're going to learn how to create and develop a brand from A to Z. This course is going to be hands on and practical but we'll also explore some of the theory behind creating successful brands such as looking at the roles that symbolism and psychology play in developing effective brand identities. I'm going to take you through the whole process of designing and building a brand, from how to design high impact logos and icons, how to flesh out your brand type faces, color palettes, and graphics, and how to pull your brand identity elements together into a useful style guide that you can use in print copy or online. If you've had a little bit of experience of using Adobe software like Illustrator and InDesign and you want to learn how to approach branding projects with confidence. This course is going to be the perfect fit for you. You'll end up with a fail safe process for creating professional high impact visual brands every single time. I'm really looking forward to welcoming you onto the course. So when you're ready, let's get started
