5.1 Conclusion
Hello, and welcome back to Surreal Digital Paintings. My name is Melody Nieves, and it's been my pleasure taking you along this creative journey. For the last chapter of this course, let's go over a recap of everything we've learned. In this course, you learned what it takes to create a surreal digital painting of your own. Chapter two tackled everything you needed to know about your tools and resources. Including the importance of breaking old habits, by experimenting with different document sizes for your compositions. We then moved on, to concept development in chapter three. Where you got to see the main idea take form, as we focused on creating a painting with a powerful meaning behind it. After some experimentation with composition and lighting. Chapter four revealed the final digital painting process. As we ventured onto highlights and the remaining details. Art that is rich in surrealism is not your normal art. It's full of carefully planned symbolism that's meant to make the viewer think. Whatever your opinions may be of the world, one thing is always true. The message your viewer receives is directly related to how you deliver it. So do your best to make it count. I really hope you've enjoyed following along this course. And that it helped you fall in love with this digital medium as much as I have. If you're looking for more information or inspiration on digital painting.
