1.1 Welcome to the Course

Welcome to this quick introductory video, where I’ll show you what we’re going to be creating and introduce the idea of compositing in Photoshop by combining multiple images to build a single scene.

1.1 Welcome to the Course

Hey there, my name is Daniel White. Some people online know me as Dansky. I'm a designer and instructor with Envato Tuts+. And in this course, we're going to learned all about creatively compositing images in Adobe Photoshop. So what is compositing? Well, compositing is the process whereby you combine one image with another. Or it can be more than one image, but essentially, it's all about combining multiple images together into a single image. And this is incredibly fun, because it allows you to imagine a scene, something completely out of this world, and then you can bring that to life on Photoshop. And in this course, you're going to learn a number of different tricks and tips that is not only going to make your process of compositing images easier, but it's also going to make the end result look a lot more effective. So in this course, we're going to be taking an image of a robot and compositing that with another image of an industrial setting. So if you'd like to download the robot and the image that we'll be using for this course, as well as any brushes that we use later on, then there'll be links provided with the course. Okay, so with all that said, I think it's time to get started.
