1. How to Rotate Text in Illustrator Using the Bounding Box
As long as you're working with point text, the bounding box is the quickest method that you can use to rotate text in Illustrator. Use the Selection Tool (V) to select your text, and hover your cursor over one corner of the bounding box. Once the cursor turns into a curved double arrow, you can click and drag to rotate the text.
If you can't see the bounding box once you select the text using the Selection Tool (V), go to View > Show Bounding Box (Shift-Control-B).
