Hi, my name is Hardy and welcome back to Professional Digital Painting with Adobe Photoshop. This is a review of the equipment and software that we'll be using. To start with, I'm using a basic iMac. But everything we're doing here works just as well on PC, so either or. I'll be using Photoshop version CC. But nothing that we're doing here needs a terribly new version. Any of the older versions work just as well. And I'll be using a Wacom Intuos3 tablet. I've been using this for years and I really love it. There's no substitute for a pen tablet. It gives you a really natural feel that simulates the traditional experience very well. So this is a great product to use. So once you have those three things, you have everything you need to get started. Up next, we will do an overview of the basic process we'll be using.
