1.1 What is Stock?
Illustrating for stock and selling your work on sites such as GraphicRiver can be very rewarding, whether you’re doing it for fun, for extra income, or as a full-time job. But there’s a lot more to it than simply uploading some files then kicking back and watching the money roll in. In this course, we’ll try to cover every aspect of stock vector illustration — how to get started, where to upload, how to prepare your files, what you need to know about copyright and licensing, and much more. And by the way, all the images used in this course will be stock vector illustrations that have been purchased and downloaded from the various sites we’ll talk about.
