How to Make a Font Thicker in Cricut Design Space

Let's see how to make lines thicker in Cricut Design Space. One of the ways to thicken a font is by using the offset Cricut feature with a very slight offset. Here's how to do it.

Step 1

Here is some text I've added to my current project using the Text option. I am using a gorgeous script font, Marthina Script, from Envato Elements, which we'll use in this outline font for Cricut tutorial. I have also identified many gorgeous fonts that work perfectly with this method that you can use at the end of this tutorial.

Step 2

Make sure you have the word selected, and the word Offset will no longer be greyed out, so you can now click on it. This is how we'll start using the offset Cricut feature to get thicker fonts.

Step 3

You can move the dot to make the offset bigger or smaller, but we need a little bit more control to make a font a bit thicker in Cricut Design Space.

Step 4

In order to control how to make lines thicker on Cricut, we need to select the numbers in the box and type a number we want to use. I used 0.04, but I would suggest trying a few different sizes to achieve the look you want.
