In the following tutorial, you will learn how to use the Adobe font finder feature in a few simple steps. All you'll need is an image with the font, and Adobe font recognition will do the rest.

How to Find a Font With the Adobe Font Finder

Step 1

To test the Adobe font finder, we'll use this castle logo from Envato Elements.

Adobe's font finder is a free service, and you won't need an account to use it.

Open your browser and go to fonts.adobe.com. Simply click on Search by Image, and upload an image with the font that you wish to find.

Step 2

Once you've uploaded an image, the Adobe font finder will start scanning your file.

Step 3

Once it's scanned, you will get a bounding box around some of the text from your image. If you want to find another font from your image, simply click and drag the edges of the bounding box.

Press the Next Step button after you've selected the desired area.

Step 4

Next, you can adjust the sample text that will be used to exemplify the fonts found by Adobe's font recognition feature.

Press the Next Step button, and the Adobe font finder will do its magic.

Step 5

Ta-da! Using the font finder with Adobe is that easy. Just click the Add font button to add any font to your system, and you're ready to use it. 

Note: if you want to add a font, you need to have a Creative Cloud account. The fonts you add will automatically appear in your Adobe software.
