How to Make a Rainbow Brush in Procreate

Step 1

Launch your canvas within the Procreate app (I'm using a 3000 px by 3000 px canvas), and draw a black circle using the Monoline brush (or any similar smooth round brush). When you've finished drawing your circle, hold your pencil down on the screen until the Edit Shape menu appears at the top of the screen, and click this button.

Select Circle from the options that appear to create a perfect circle.

Fill the circle to create a solid shape by dragging a black colour swatch from the top-right corner of the screen into the centre of the circle.

Step 2

Duplicate your circle and place all of your circles across the centre of the canvas in a horizontal line. The number of circles you create will determine the number of lines within your rainbow brush.

Step 4

Now let's edit the brush settings. The brush is going to look a little strange in the preview, but trust the process!

First, head to the Stroke path menu and turn the Spacing down to None.
