Is It Possible to Download Photoshop CS2 for Free Legally

Not a long time ago, there was some confusion about the Photoshop CS2 free download. This problem was a result of a technical error on Adobe's licensing servers. It was actually possible to download Photoshop for free, but only if you had purchased this version of Photoshop before. There is no actual way to get an Adobe Photoshop free download, except for the trial version!

How to Get Adobe Photoshop for Free (Trial Version)

Step 1

Is there a free version of Photoshop CC? Well, you could download the Adobe Photoshop free trial version! The Photoshop free trial download is available on the Adobe site. Here you can see all the Adobe products.

Let's hit the Photoshop free trial download button near the Photoshop icon. Once you've hit it, you'll see a page with different download options. So, if you want to get not only a free Photoshop app but also some other useful free Photoshop software, you can choose the Photography plan, and you'll get Adobe Lightroom as well. Or you could choose the Creative Cloud All Apps plan to get all the Adobe products.

Step 3

Once you've selected a subscription type, hit Start Free Trial, and now you need to enter your email address. Then press Continue.

On the next page, you should choose the payment method: it could be a credit card or PayPal. Don't worry—it won't take any money from your account during the trial period, and you could always cancel your subscription in your Adobe account. (Also, you can get a full refund with no fees for 14 days after purchase.)

And finally, you will see the page which leads to your Adobe ID account, where you can download your Photoshop free version. Just hit Get Started to get access to your downloads page.

How to Get Other Free Photoshop Software

There is another option for you if you want to get an Adobe Photoshop free version—it's Adobe Photoshop Elements. Elements is a simplified version of Adobe Photoshop, which has all the basic Photoshop functions. So if you need some simple software to finish your project, this trial free Photoshop app is the best choice for you.

If you are using a tablet or mobile device, you could try the Photoshop Express app, which is available on App Store, Google Play, and Windows Store. It's absolutely free! However, the functions of this software are limited, but you could create collages, adjust color settings, and add stickers to your photos. If you need a handy mobile app, this would be a nice app to have.
