3.5 First Optional Assignment

With our first project completed, I encourage you to use what you’ve learned to create your own project. Use the basic shape creation tools like the Shape Builder Tool and the Pathfinder to create a similar, scenery-based illustration.

3.5 First Optional Assignment

Hello and welcome to the conclusion of this project and chapter. I'd like to provide you with an optional assignment to create your own project, similar to the one we just finished, base on a scenery of sortS. It can be based on your favorite city, activity, or even a season such as winter. Identify basic symbolism that represents the scene you are trying to convey. And use the techniques and tools you've learned so far to create those symbols. So in the case of our ocean side illustration here, we used a water, beach, a whale, sun, palm trees and more to create this design. So do the same with your project. By practicing on your own, you will further solidify your new-found knowledge of these tools, and it will help you establish a more solid understanding of what you've learned so far. So with that said, in the next chapter, we're going to cover a new project, a coffee poster for our fictional coffee business. I'll see you then.
