3.3 Adding a Secondary Light Source to Our Painting

In this lesson, we will cover how to add a secondary light source to our painting. It helps to round out the forms and create a more dynamic feel to the work. We will also cover the blending modes in more detail and how they can help your painting process. By using the layer over the top of our base painting, we can control the blending modes even further by adjusting the opacity. Then, finally, we will turn down the saturation of our painting and add some glowing eyes to the helmet with an additional layer.
