4.4 How to Render Your Video

Hi everyone, and welcome back to the Rainy Window Effect course. In this lesson, we'll learn how to render our completed animation. So make sure that the correct composition is selected. In this case, it's called our rain animation comp. And then we want to go to Composition and Add to Render Queue. Now over here, we've got some options that we want to go through. So free select Best Settings here. Two of the most notable settings we've got is the Quality and the Resolution. So in the Quality, we can go ahead and choose Best. And the Resolution you can play about with either the current settings or a custom setting. But we want to go ahead and select Full for now. So select OK. And now in lossless, we can go ahead and choose what sort of format we want to render our video in. So either AVI or QuickTime video or any of these other options that we've got in our drop down box here. And we can also choose to resize our video here as well. And also we can also crop our video if you want to crop it. Excellent, so let's go ahead and click OK. The next thing that you want to click on is you want to go ahead and select how you want to output your video. So select the output to, and you wanna choose a place where you want your final file to be placed. And we can also change the name of our animations, so let's go ahead and name this Final Rain Animation. Click save, and now, all that's left to be done is to click on the Render button here and wait for the final render to finish. So that's it for this tutorial. In the next lesson we'll go through the conclusion of the course. See you all there.
