In our new course, Creative Lighting Effects in Adobe Photoshop, you will learn how to create powerful lighting effects using several techniques in Adobe Photoshop and the Flame Painter plugin. The aim of this course is to help you to enhance your clients’ advertising campaigns or promotional material, and to teach you how lighting can play a huge role in your final designs.
What You'll Learn
Graphic designer and certified Adobe Community Professional Gavin Campbell will help you to create a beauty product advertising campaign by combining several stock photos in Adobe Photoshop and applying creative lighting effects.

Here's a free preview of some of the lessons from this course:
Building an Island
In this video, you'll learn how to build the island in the image using cutouts from a hill. Then you will play with the shadows and highlights to fit the layers with the direction of the light in the image.
Adding a Glow Effect
In this later video, you'll add some glow to the bottom of the perfume bottle to give the image more realism. This will be done using layer blends and default brushes.
Creating Light Trails
Using basic default brushes, you will now add particles of light to the foreground and background by adjusting the brush settings.
