I'm a self taught artist from the Philippines, currently working full time as a graphic artist in billboard design.

Postcards
What inspires me to make such art is the local artists here in the Philippines. If you check out my Instagram account you'll see the progress I've made over the past two years. From traditional drawing to digital art.

ZAP
Three local artists who I'm inspired by are Edz Gatdula, Rombutan and Biko Tecson. These three have had the most impact on my art journey.

The Voices
I am a graphic designer and lettering artist born in Barbados and based in Atlanta. I started my career in corporate graphic design then I owned a stationery design business for over 10 years. I now focus on licensing my artwork to other product based companies.

#HOMwork Lettering Challenge
As an island girl living in an urban world, my work has evolved over the years to merge these opposing cultural aesthetics which results in modern design enlivened with lush florals, foliage and a keen eye for color.

Women's Day 2019
There are several artists I admire (too many to mention) but in general, bold, colorful art always catches my eye, no matter what medium.

Dion MBD
Our next feature shows the compelling work of illustrator and designer Dion MBD. An Indonesian-born talent, his art pieces include fantastic illustrations of thoughtful and emotional scenes.

Self-Portrait
I was born in Indonesia and I am finishing up my studies at the Ringling College in Florida. I enjoy cloud watching and the mundane of daily activities. I think the small things in life are beautiful but easily overlooked.

Shiver
My works are usually highlighting current issues, especially those that are tightly knitted with our routines. I want to create a comfortable space in my pieces for viewers to discuss with one another or with me.

Beyond
I really enjoy line work in art. I do not have a single person that I look up to but I really enjoy the compositions done by Bernie Fuchs, the bold brush strokes of Dean Cornwell, and the delicate colors of Oga Kazu.

Ruby Loudin
Our final feature belongs to NYC native Ruby Loudin. Carrying a variety of creative specialties, Ruby is a production animator who shows us what's possible when keeping up with our art forms. Enjoy her fantastic animations and fan art below.

PIXELS Animation
I'm just a kid who grew up in Queens, NYC. My name is Ruby, and I love all forms of art.
There's an energy that fills me and motivates me when I see, hear and experience it. I grew up in a city full of inspiration and rich history; a melting pot of cultures.

How to Rule
Pop culture, gaming and niche interests inspired me to pursue the art of world building, character creation, and visual story-telling. Like many artists, I wanted to find my thing. Part of the journey was teaching myself how to do new things, utilizing all tools that were available to me.

Hunter Portrait
At this point in my life, I feel that I have come much closer to it. I've learned that I love all things cute, and I love portraying humor. Sometimes a bit of both. In turn, my most recent creations have taken the form of animated loops, or simple stories told in a single or a few images.
