Our first artist is the magnificent Soma Difusa, an illustrator and printmaker from Bogotá, Colombia. With a love for traveling guiding her way, she creates stunning editorial pieces with subdued palettes.

Niña Montaña
I'm an illustrator and artist from Bogotá. Since 2016 I have traveled all around my country painting with populations, thus I've managed to find a way in which my art can reach more people and help carry a message.
Lo Más Alto
I like to find all the things that are in common between different experiences or objects, so I create word games which later become images. I get a lot of inspiration from traveling, the streets of Bogotá, animals, and nature.

There are many Colombian artists whose art inspire me like Gleo, Bastardilla and Hello Kuso. To me, the most relevant thing that I like to see with artists is more than a style but instead, the ability to evoke. I also love the work of Mazatl, Smitheone, Katie Scott, and Camille Chew.
Yukari Mishima
Next is the stunning watercolor work of Yukari Mishima, an illustrator born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan. Inspired by the dynamic images taken from Japanese comics and animation, she creates lovely watercolor paintings of every day life.

Scenes in Daily Lives
After majoring in Chinese Linguistics and working as a translator, I decided to try to become an illustrator, which was my secret dream, at the age of 35.
My main artworks are watercolor paintings and 3D illusion paintings, and sometimes I also write short cartoon essays on SNS. My tools of choice are watercolor, colored pencils, comic pens and Adobe Photoshop.
Landscapes in Japan
I have gotten a lot of inspiration from Japanese comic books and animations. The pictures in comic books are drawn with simple lines, nevertheless, they sometimes depict a character’s dynamic actions and expressions better, and stir our emotions much more than photographed images.
I am often fascinated with fiction so as to forget bad things in real life. I hope to create such artworks which invite someone to a world between fantasy and reality.

My name is Daniel Amedoda, and I am a London-based freelance creative. I specialize in motion and Illustration using both traditional and digital media. On some days, my creativity is on a high, charged by genuine inspiration as I go into a weird, creative autopilot mode, knowing where every stroke should be and where to place each value.
Pages of Her
I had seen an artist on Instagram using a pen and a ruler to build up values using straight lines. This simple method translated well to my old iPad and I just started creating. I also love drawing on paper with ink as this method can be somewhat unforgiving with no undo button or pinch or zoom.
With some of my drawings, the same principles of building values remained but I changed the methods slightly. Either by using dots, or a simple hatching method.

One of my all time favorite artists is Yoji Shinkawa. The way he’s able to draw with such vivid images with just a brush pen fascinated me. Moonzcap, T.S. Abe, and Nicholas Sanchez are also just a few of the many artists that inspire me.
Megumi Goto
Our final pieces come from the incredible work of Megumi Goto, an illustrator living in Tokyo, Japan. Recalling her memories through traditional and digital mediums, she creates intriguing illustrations centered around life.

I also love drawing the everyday lives of the people I visit. I have traveled a lot and drawing maps gives me the feeling of a new adventure beginning. I got a beautiful pop up map book by Sarah McMenemy, and I would love to try and make this kind of book for Tokyo, Hiroshima, and other cities all over the world.
