    I always enjoy Illustrator tutorials that make great use of texture and lighting. This tutorial from Vector Diary demonstrates how to create a wooden smoking pipe and is an excellent example of how you can add some realism with texture and light. The vector smoke is pretty nice as well!

    Icons design can be fun and challenging. You really can’t have enough instruction in this area because every icon is different. This tutorial from Design Instruct is a pretty cool example of how you can create a vector digital clock in Illustrator.

  • 3D Vector iPhone 4

    It seems like every time there is a new Apple product there is a rush in the design community to produce digital recreations of that product in everyone’s favorite design application. This vector iPhone 4 is unique in that it was created in Illustrator using Illustrator’s 3D tools, which is pretty darned cool!
